About

Celtic Nations

My work is inspired by Celtic cultures and Brittany. I draw from nature, myths, and symbols to nourish my creations.

My pieces often take root from archival images. I hunt for old postcards, portraits, and other images from the past at the Saint-Ouen flea market or the Passage des Panoramas in Paris. By assembling them, I create new compositions where culture, human figures, and imagination intertwine.

I apply the principle of “nothing added, nothing removed.” I do not alter the images themselves. I transform them only through their juxtaposition and composition. My works thus become recomposed fragments of memory, where nature, culture, and faces freely engage in dialogue.

[Artist Statement]

Throughout the known history of our world, and likely far beyond, artists and their works have always been sources of discovery and inspiration. From inherited artifacts to creations yet to come, art awakens in us a profound sense of connection and reflection on our existence.

To be an artist is, in my eyes, one of the greatest privileges. It is a path of devotion and exploration that has no end. Each idea brings new perspectives and opens the way to a sharing of meaning and emotion.
