A contemporary work, Hommage Flottant (Floating Homage) draws inspiration from Brittany and its maritime figures. The image shows a sailor saluting, whose presence is duplicated and superimposed in subtle layers, giving the impression of a memory floating between past and present.
The gesture, suspended in time, becomes both homage and apparition, oscillating between the tangible and the ghostly.
