Agapanthus Man, a blossoming spirit turned towards the heavens. ✺

A contemporary piece, Agapanthus Man presents the silhouette of a motionless figure whose head opens into the radiant bloom of an agapanthus. Slender stems and a single floral umbel unfold outward, like an inner energy rising and spreading, turning the human form into a point of luminous growth.

The flower becomes an expansion of thought. It reflects momentum, diffusion, and an opening of the self to the world. Between solid body and airy bloom, the piece suggests an inner force extending outward like a vegetal constellation, where the mind unfolds in living rays.

Textile material: Jacquard woven cotton.

Design: Each tapestry is the result of a precise and collaborative process, blending traditional textile expertise with contemporary technologies. Starting from one of my original watercolor drawings, the artwork is interpreted and then translated thread by thread on a Jacquard loom. Many hours of preparation and weaving are required to bring each piece to life.

Eco-responsibility: Manufacturing prioritizes environmentally friendly methods. The tapestries are made of 100% cotton, a significant portion of which is recycled cotton. Textile waste from production is reused or reintegrated into the manufacturing cycle to minimize the ecological footprint.

Uniqueness: Each tapestry is a singular textile work, originating from one of my original watercolor drawings. This artwork is then interpreted and translated into Jacquard weaving, making each piece a unique creation, impossible to reproduce exactly.

Care: To preserve the beauty and condition of your tapestry, simply dust it with a soft, clean, dry cloth or a soft-bristled brush. Remove the dust gently, without rubbing. If necessary, opt for dry cleaning or a gentle wash depending on usage. Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive humidity, heat, and direct sunlight to maintain the vibrancy of the colors and the quality of the fibers.

Durability: Designed to last, the tapestry evolves over time. The fibers soften, the material gains depth and patina, gradually revealing the full richness of the weave and the nobility of the textile.
