Floral Thoughts, an expanding reverie. ☁️
A contemporary work, Floral Thoughts presents the silhouette of a human figure whose head opens into a collection of suspended floral forms. The flowers unfold like branches of thought, evoking the emergence of new ideas, imagination, and a form of inner reverie. The composition seems imbued with an organic movement, where thoughts gradually take on the form of living things.
Here, flowers become an extension of the mind. They symbolize the birth of ideas, mental projection, and the silent development of the inner dream. Between human presence and vegetal lightness, the work transforms blossoming into a metaphor for the imagination and thought in motion.

Floral Thoughts - Flora
Textile material: Jacquard woven cotton.
Design: Each tapestry is the result of a precise and collaborative process, blending traditional textile expertise with contemporary technologies. Starting from one of my original watercolor drawings, the artwork is interpreted and then translated thread by thread on a Jacquard loom. Many hours of preparation and weaving are required to bring each piece to life.
Eco-responsibility: Manufacturing prioritizes environmentally friendly methods. The tapestries are made of 100% cotton, a significant portion of which is recycled cotton. Textile waste from production is reused or reintegrated into the manufacturing cycle to minimize the ecological footprint.
Uniqueness: Each tapestry is a singular textile work, originating from one of my original watercolor drawings. This artwork is then interpreted and translated into Jacquard weaving, making each piece a unique creation, impossible to reproduce exactly.
Care: To preserve the beauty and condition of your tapestry, simply dust it with a soft, clean, dry cloth or a soft-bristled brush. Remove the dust gently, without rubbing. If necessary, opt for dry cleaning or a gentle wash depending on usage. Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive humidity, heat, and direct sunlight to maintain the vibrancy of the colors and the quality of the fibers.
Durability: Designed to last, the tapestry evolves over time. The fibers soften, the material gains depth and patina, gradually revealing the full richness of the weave and the nobility of the textile.
