Tête en Fleur, a blossoming between thought and plant life. 🌱
A contemporary work, Tête en Fleur (Head in Bloom) presents a motionless human figure whose head opens into a delicate flower. The petals and filaments unfold like an inner blossoming, transforming the face into a space of germination where the spirit seems to take root in life.
The flower becomes an extension of thought. It symbolizes metamorphosis, awakening, and the encounter between humanity and the plant world. Between the grounded body and the fragile bloom, the work evokes the silent transformation of being, where the spirit opens like a corolla towards nature.

Flowering Head - Flora
Textile material: Jacquard woven cotton.
Design: Each tapestry is the result of a precise and collaborative process, blending traditional textile expertise with contemporary technologies. Starting from one of my original watercolor drawings, the artwork is interpreted and then translated thread by thread on a Jacquard loom. Many hours of preparation and weaving are required to bring each piece to life.
Eco-responsibility: Manufacturing prioritizes environmentally friendly methods. The tapestries are made of 100% cotton, a significant portion of which is recycled cotton. Textile waste from production is reused or reintegrated into the manufacturing cycle to minimize the ecological footprint.
Uniqueness: Each tapestry is a singular textile work, originating from one of my original watercolor drawings. This artwork is then interpreted and translated into Jacquard weaving, making each piece a unique creation, impossible to reproduce exactly.
Care instructions: To preserve the beauty and condition of your tapestry, clean it carefully (dry cleaning or gentle washing depending on use). Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive humidity, heat, or direct sunlight.
Durability: Designed to last, the tapestry evolves over time. The fibers soften, the material gains depth and patina, gradually revealing the full richness of the weave and the nobility of the textile.
